These are some larger projects I have worked on.
With my company I created a game in 72 hours for the Ludum Dare game jam. I programmed everything but the AI. The game was created with Unity.
A game I made with one of my colleagues at Martian Flytrap. This game was made in seven days as an experiment to see how fast we could make a game from scratch. It’s local multiplayer game where you have to smack llama’s. The music and sounds are created by Joni van der Leeuw from OIIO.
The game can be downloaded from the Martian Flytrap website. Have fun smacking llama’s!
This one of the first FireFly2 projects. Its a procedural planet. Made for the Simulating the World Seminar at Utrecht University.
DamSchreeuwer is a very simple game where you kill people by scaring them and lighting them on fire. The game was created in 4 weeks by me, Adriaan Jansen and Manuel Kerssemakers.
Download the binaries here.
A research I did with Marries van de Hoef. We developed a system that generates stereoscopic images from a single image and its corresponding depth buffer in real-time. Its also a lot faster than generating two separate images. Besides that we also wrote a paper describing the different techniques that are currently available for stereoscopy.
The paper is available here.
These are some of the websites I have made throughout the years.
Private website that allows me to quickly add and change users and repositories on my server. It also allows me to follow commit logs and view some statistics about commit behavior of people and repositories.
The website you are currently on. I’ve got this website for like 6 years now and it has gone through some major changes. The design is all mine but the back-end technology is WordPress. Why reinvent the wheel right?
Very early assignments I did for the University Utrecht. (First year of my study)
This is yet another assignment I did in Java. Its a two player game you can also play against the computer. Or you can let the computer play itself. AI was not part of the assignment but I found it fun to do. Got me a 10 as a grade.
A simple applet that renders a mandelbrot figure. This is the first assignment I did for the university. It is also the first project I did with java. I features multithreading and some other cool features that were not required.
